Welcome to our sKids Centre where the safety and care of your child is our number one priority.

Cherryl Donovan and Lesley Bennett purchased Skids Kristin in early December 2011, just in time for the Holiday Programme.  This gave us a chance to get to know some of the wonderful children and there parents.  We thoroughly enjoyed this time and really looking forward to the new school year.

Both Cherryl and Lesley have recently come from their proffessions in the travel industry, where they worked together for some years.  This was very rewarding for both of them, however, they finally followed their passion for children and their well being.

On 27^th January they take possession of the Skids operation at Whenuapai school, where Cherryl will be based, Lesley will be based at the Kristin site.

Both mothers of 3 adult children each and 1 grandchild each, Cherryl and Lesley have the maturity and understanding of your children’s needs.  After school care should be fun, a place where the children can feel safe and you, their parents feel comfortable that they are being well cared for.

While structure is important, we do realise that children need some flexibility.  Once they have had afternoon tea, time to blow off the cobwebs, homework has been completed, an activity will be planned for each day.  Our aim is to keep them busy in a constructive way.

Once each terms planning has been completed, we will post this on the school’s websiteff so you can keep up with what we are doing.
